Students who expect to complete their studies and who have submitted all necessary assessments for their target award by Friday 31 May should register online for graduation. A target award is the final award you expect to receive on completion of your undergraduate or postgraduate studies. For example, if you are registered on an honours programme but you do not intend to continue your studies to honours level, then your target award would be an Unclassified Degree. If you are studying for an undergraduate award and intend to go on to a postgraduate course, you should graduate with your undergraduate award.
Students who may be eligible to graduate are listed in the following categories:
Online registration is now open. All students eligible to graduate and those who requested to graduate have been sent an email inviting them to register online through OASIS. You must register to graduate whether you wish to attend the Ceremony in person or not.
If you have not received an email inviting you to register for graduation by the 15 April, then please contact graduationevents@abertay.ac.uk.
The deadline for registering to graduate is Friday 31 May 2013. If you fail to register by the deadline you will be unable to graduate at the July Ceremony.
A Graduation Registration Charge of £35 is payable by every student wishing to register as a graduate of the University of Abertay Dundee. The Charge is payable whether you choose to graduate in person or absentia, and covers your registration as a Graduate of the University of Abertay Dundee in the Graduate Register and the production of your Certificate. Please ensure you have a credit or debit card ready to make your payment.
The fee also includes your admission to the Ceremony and the post-Ceremony drinks reception should you wish to attend in person. Graduand tickets to the Ceremony will be available for collection from the Registration Desk in the Caird Hall Complex from 2.00-4.30pm on Wednesday 10 July or on Graduation Day.
If you owe the University money for any reason (fees, rent, library fines etc) you will not be permitted to graduate. Please ensure that you clear any outstanding debts and complete the online graduation process by Friday 31 May 2013.
