Careers information

The Careers Information Room is open to all students and there are resources available in a wide range of areas, such as job occupations, job sectors, diversity, gaining work experience and postgraduate information to name a few!  IT facilities are also available to assist with that valuable career research!  Further, we stock many of the latest career guides – which are FREE to students at Abertay! 

This section can be used in a variety of ways. Here are some examples:

• to research job profiles and learn about what a specific job/profession involves
• find out about skills and qualities required for specific occupations
• gain knowledge about the training required for certain professions or within certain occupations
• learn more about entry qualifications
• find out more about what job areas match or are relevant to your own degree subject
• broaden your career ideas about opportunities for your future
