- Visit our Vacancies & Events site and register your details. Once registered you can search through the latest part-time opportunities. You can also use the site to search for voluntary positions, work placements and graduate vacancies.
- Visit the Job Centre online at http://jobseekers.direct.gov.uk
- Pick up a copy of Friday’s Dundee Courier or visit their site online at http://jobs.thecourier.co.uk/
- Ask in local shops, supermarkets, hotels, pubs and restaurants if they are recruiting - get a good CV ready for this!
- Other websites worth looking at are www.s1jobs.com, www.inretail.co.uk and http://www.indeed.co.uk
- Check out the local council vacancy site, Dundee City Council is the local council for the Dundee area
- Speak to friends and tutors, ask if they know of anyone that is recruiting.
If you are struggling to get your job search off the ground you may want to talk to careers staff in more detail about where to look for work. The CDC runs a drop-in service on the following days/times to which all students are welcome to attend - no appointment necessary.
