Clearing 2026 at Abertay

Clearing is your route to a place at Abertay this September. It opens on 2 July 2026, but you don't need to wait until results day to get ready.

If you didn't get the grades you hoped for, changed your mind, applied late or are applying for the first time, Clearing is for you.

Our team will talk you through your options and, if you meet the entry requirements, can make you an offer very quickly.

What is Clearing?

Clearing is how universities fill their remaining course places for the year. At Abertay it opens on 2 July 2026, and it's the way to apply for undergraduate courses that still have spaces for September entry.

Clearing could be for you if:

You're applying to Abertay from 2 July 2026
You haven't received offers from other universities
You didn't meet the conditions of your offer
You'd like to decline your offer and find a new place
