My project focuses on the various aspects that go into designing characters/creatures with different characteristics and personalities, and how to successfully convey these to the audience within illustration. This is communicated using the backdrop of a fantasy world, with the title ‘Renegade Hunters: A Fistful of Bounty's’, which is inspired by various elements from Fantasy and Western genres. The basic premise within this world follows two bounty hunters (Ash and Eve) who are a brother and sister duo that take on various bounty’s together. Ash has a temper on him, likes to take things head-on and fight up close and personal. While Eve is a bit more reserved and strategic, likes to fight from a distance. The illustration will depict these characters taking on a bounty who is a mad outlaw with a fearsome creature companion, who both have their own characteristics on display.
