Types of Partnership

See below for an overview of the types of partnership on offer:

Franchise: As a partner, you would deliver Abertay-designed programmes, with students registered as part of our University community.
Validation: Partners would develop and deliver their own programmes and would be validated by Abertay to meet our high standards.
Joint Delivery: Programmes co-developed and delivered, leading to awards recognised by both or all participating institutions.
Articulation: Students will study part of their qualification with a partner, then transfer to Abertay University for the other part.

Approval Process

The partnership journey with Abertay starts with idea development, moving through strategic assessment to academic approval. We ensure a seamless process, adhering to rigorous quality standards at every stage, from initial idea to final approval and beyond.

Management of Partnerships

Post-approval, our partnerships thrive on robust management practices, including detailed procedures manuals, regular communications, and comprehensive support systems, ensuring the success and growth of every programme. In addition, each partner is given a dedicated Link Tutor, ensuring a single point of contact for enquiries.
