Keeping Abertay’s community of Alumni, Supporters and Friends in the know

Public Engagement Event

Wednesday 24 April, 12.15 - 1pm, Abertay University

In-person event for Students, Staff and Alumni

All Abertay Alumni are warmly invited to join us at our on-campus 2024 Public Engagement Event.

Join us for a programme of presentations as we reflect on the University’s achievements and look toward the opportunities and challenges ahead. There will also be an opportunity to learn about the strategic vision Abertay directly from the University’s most senior figures:

· Chancellor, Professor Alice Brown

· Chair of Court, David Brew

· Principal & Vice-Chancellor, Professor Liz Bacon

Our speakers will look ahead at the challenges and opportunities facing Abertay and the wider higher education sector, with topics including the current funding environment, the need to continue working on widening access, the landscape surrounding developments in artificial intelligence and other key areas.

This public event will be held in the Main Lecture Theatre at 12.15pm on Wednesday 24 April and will be followed by networking and a buffet lunch until approximately 2pm.

Sign up via Eventbrite.
