Eilidh Doyle retired from athletics in June 2021 as Scotland’s most decorated track and field athlete, having won 17 major championship medals throughout her career at Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth Games Level. Predominately a 400m Hurdler, an event in which she was European Champion, Eilidh was also a valuable member of the 4x400m relay squad where she won Scotland’s first track and field Olympic medal in 28years, in Rio in 2016.
Along with winning medals, her proudest moments have been representing her country as Team Captain of the British Athletics squad at the World Championships in London 2017 and becoming the first women to carry the flag for Scotland at the Opening Ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Australia in 2018.
More recently Eilidh has welcomed two sons into the world, Campbell was born at the start of 2020 and Lewis was born at the beginning of April this year, so instead of running around a track, she now runs after two boys!
