These days Geoff Heath is best known for his work in the video games industry. However, before then he had a successful career in music publishing, working with the likes of John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

He made history by becoming the first and only producer to receive the Ivor Novello Award.

But what do you do from there?

For Geoff, it was a brave switch to something completely new. He joined the emerging computer game industry, getting the chance to build the European arm of Activision.

He became the first in the industry to bring over US products and after helping make Ghostbusters a smash-hit he moved on to Virgin Mastertronic.

He's gone on to co-found Maze Theory, a company focused on VR experiences.

He was awarded an OBE in 2009.
