If you've registered for graduation, you would have already let us know if you're happy to hear from us. For all other University leavers who haven't registered for graduation, you can sign up to hear from us below.
Accessing the important stuff after you leave
Via GradIntel, you can access your -
- Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR)
- Digital degree Certificate
Both should be fully up-to-date and accessible by the end of November. If you're looking to secure work or further education and need to evidence these documents, you can send your prospective employer / education institution a secure link to view these electronically.
If you’re eligible for a Degree Certificate, you’ll receive this at the Graduation Ceremony on Friday 29 November. If you’re not attending in person, a paper version will be posted out to your home address at the end of November.

Your student email address
Your Abertay student email address is due to expire on 30 November 2024. Make sure you have an alternative email address set up and re-direct anything that you'd like to continue receiving. It may be worth forwarding any references you've received or even your dissertation to your personal email account, just so that you can have access to these for as long as you need after leaving.
Careers Support for Abertay Graduates
Even though you have now graduated from Abertay, please remember you can still access support from the Careers Service. We have a wide variety of resources to help you including 1-1 appointments with a Careers Adviser and numerous tools on our website. To access our support, please register as a graduate on Abertay Connect here https://abertayconnect.abertay.ac.uk/ select ‘Graduate sign in and registration’ then either log-in or register to access the platform.
Furthermore, we have a new program of careers support for Abertay graduates called Graduate Success! Are you an Abertay graduate who is lost with what to do with your life now after your degree and don’t know how to move forward? We can help! If you need assistance with any aspect of your career progression whether you are looking for your first graduate role, further study or are not sure what to do next, remember we are here to support you.
