Abertay University appoints new Director of Finance, Infrastructure and Corporate Services

Andrew Menzies will take up the position in December 2024

Abertay University is delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Menzies as its new Director of Finance, Infrastructure and Corporate Services (FICS).

Andrew brings a wealth of experience in the Scottish higher education sector, having served in senior leadership roles at Glasgow School of Art, the University of St Andrews, and Heriot-Watt University. 

Having developed a strong track record in strategic financial management across higher education, central government, and the NHS, Andrew will bring his expertise to lead the Finance, Infrastructure and Corporate Services team in driving strategic initiatives that align with Abertay's mission to provide high-quality education, cutting-edge research, and a supportive student experience.

Andrew will join the University in December 2024, replacing current Director Gordon Weir who is due to retire later this year.
