With around 4000 students representing 60+ nationalities, Abertay is one of Scotland’s smallest university communities. The tight-knit nature of the university has seen us ranked Scotland's TOP Modern University for Student Satisfaction (NSS 2023).
Abertay was famously the first university in the world to offer a degree in Ethical Hacking. Ethical Hacking courses are still offered along with Game Design, Business, Food Science, Psychology, Law, Civil Engineering and many others.
Our campus is located right in the heart of the city of Dundee, meaning you’ll be a short walk from everything you’d expect from a modern city. Dundee is on Scotland’s beautiful east coast with excellent connections to Edinburgh, St Andrews, the Highlands, Aberdeen and Glasgow.
As an Erasmus+ student, you're from one of our Erasmus partner universities and are not required to pay tuition fees to Abertay. You may also be eligible for an Erasmus+ student mobility grant. Please inquire with the International Office at your home university for further information.
Any student studying at one of Abertay's partner exchange institutions in Canada, Hong Kong or the USA can apply to study at Abertay for a semester or academic year.
As a student at a partner university, you're not required to pay tuition fees to Abertay.
Abertay University offers a flexible, free-mover programme for visiting students from higher education institutions where we do not have a partnership agreement.
With the agreement of your home university, you are able to study at Abertay as a fee-paying student, either for one semester or a full academic year.
Tuition fees are set at £6,000 for all incoming visiting students.
