Psychology Host Location

Due to the nature and precision of the accredited Psychology modules, we are trialling a new system. Please choose an area you wish to study, we will look at the options and modules available at our partner universities in those areas and let you know our offer/s. You can also put a 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice if you wish, however, we cannot guarantee as some options are only available to 3rd years, whereas others are better suited to 2nd years.

As part of your application to study abroad, you will need to consider the classes/modules that you want to take at your 1st choice of host institution. The modules you choose should match roughly by topic with the modules that you would take if you were to study at Abertay during that time, though there may be some flexibility where you are allowed to choose some different subjects, similar to electives (this is dependent on your course). If you haven't already looked into this, you will find more information on the Finding Modules webpage.

The modules will be academically confirmed during the next stage once your application has been approved, therefore please, take a moment to look at the host university options.

Data Protection

The University will process your details on its manual and computerised systems for the purpose of administering your education, associated financial matters, use of the University facilities and where appropriate, accommodation. Some information on this form will be sent to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), Government Education Departments, Funding Councils, University of Abertay Dundee Students Association and similar organisations. Full details of the Universities Data Protection Policy are available on the University Intranet or from the office of the University Secretary. Your signature is your consent to the disclosure of this information, which by its nature may be sensitive information. If you do not wish information about you to be disclosed by the University, you will be required to submit formal notification to the University. However, you should be aware that even if you do submit such formal notification, the University may be under a legal obligation to disclose the information to a third party.
